Fool's Spring: Hybrid Picking Etude

Every so often a song jumps out and scares you!
I was working on some hybrid picking exercises and accidentally fell into writing this piece of music. It’s my favourite solo guitar piece I’ve ever written. It’s insanely technical and challenging to play but extremely rewarding. Written in the style of Liszt for guitar, this piece is highly inspired by romantic era piano compositions and features a complex hybrid picking workout with lots of counterpoint challenges in the picking pattern.
